(well kind of i guess) but also a GREAT news blog website about Orion Drift.

19/04/25 TIGER PATTERN RETURNS!! (and 3v3's -> 4v4's?!!!)

This week the Tiger Pattern has returned! and with that comes a brand new parkour challenge, personally i don't know how to beat it but GOOD LUCK!

ALSO
Another Axiom has announced that 3 v 3's for driftball will be switching to 4 v 4's! (in competitive for now), 3 v 3's will not be removed but when this does release to the public you will be able to switch from 3 v 3's to 4 v 4's.

Right now this new competitive feature is only available to play testers who sign up to test out this new feature.

19/04/25 New Pattern and some Late News!

This week we have a BRAND NEW PATTERN, the Star/Sparkle Pattern! You can earn it in this weeks Parkour Challenge! (it is a bit difficult i haven't even been able to get it).

WE ACTUALLY GOT THE WEBSITE INTO THE GAME!
For some backstory i hosted a competition (Woolworths vs Coles) and i got the opportunity to make a banner that would be displayed in game
(you can see it in the last newsletter).

I added a little url to the Banner to learn more. and it got added! so OFFICIALLY the website got technically added into the game :D

10/04/25 Woolworths VS Coles Driftball Match! (and new patterns and other things)

Are you OCE? Do you shop at either Woolworths or Coles? Do you want to settle this 35 year beef? Then Join us on Saturday 12th of april at 1pm AEST to play in a 10 vs 10! There will be 3 matches and depending on how many people are there, we will increase how many people can join. You are welcome to join from any region if you just want to play some Driftball! It will be a clubhouse event so make sure to check the OCE clubhouse servers at the time of the event!

NEW PATTERN - You can now get the all new Lighting Pattern by completing this weeks parkour challenge or getting it in community events.

I'll be starting a NEW News series on Youtube at @uhJamesvr where i cover weekly Orion Drift news (i will put the news here as well.)

7/04/25 3 More days until Week 7 of the Parkour Challenge releases!

Week 7 is soon to release! And there have been rumors that a BRAND NEW Lighting pattern and that will be given out as a reward for beating next weeks challenge.

If you want the flame pattern though, be sure to complete THIS WEEKS CHALLENGE, there are only 2-3 days left! This weeks is much easier from the others as the parkour challenge is in zero g. If you want some tips to beat it check out my youtube channel uhJames and you will find a tutorial for Week 6!

There hasn't been any other announcements for any big updates yet, i'll make sure to update ya'll here if there is any news :)

1/04/25 WE DID IT!! WE MADE IT INTO THE GAME!!

FOR APRIL FOOLS THE AA DEVS HAVE OFFICIALLY ADDED ONION DRIFT INTO THE GAME!! (we are not pranking yall btw)
They have added an onion badge as well as some teardrop eyes! they are ONLY AVAILABLE TILL THE 2nd of APRIL!!

AND THERE ARE FLOATING ONIONS IN THE SKY????! WHAT?!!

13/03/25, CAMO SKIN HAS LEFT ORION DRIFT BUT HERE COMES THE FLAME SKIN!!, DO PARKOUR CHALLENGE NOW!

If you go to the orion drift community fleet server, and get the parkour role and then check parkour annoucements, you will be able to see the weekly challenge, and you can earn yourself a nice FLAME SKIN!! for your robot. This changes every week so be fast to get it because it will disappear soon.

This changes every week so be fast to get it because it will disapear soon. if you want to complete the parkour challenge it is behind scraprun in the parkour servers.

09/03/25, ORION DRIFT IS RELEASED! (i'm a bit late lmao)

i know i am a bit late, the game released like 2 weeks ago but its still nice to post about it on here! a LOT has happened, most of them being events, you can get skins every week by completing a parkour challenge (its really hard though), found out today that jmancurly has made a video on the game so watch out for screaming 12 year olds.... but anyway thank you for reading todays newsblog :))

Also lets all BULLY this guy, heh IMAGINE having the NERVE to ask to be on this top tier website!! (jk no hate)

19/02/25 ORION DRIFT EARLY ACCESS 25th FEBURARY!!

Yes that is right! Orion drift will now be going into OPEN ACCESS which means that the game will be released to the public! FOREVER!
I would like to thank everyone who contributed to this website, i will still be posting news letters and updating all of you on orion drift news!

2/15/25 ORION DRIFT GETS A NEW UPDATE

Orion Drift has gotten a BRAND NEW UPDATE! Us in EA can not record or mention anything to do with the new update as that would break our NDA but from what we can see outside of EA is that the SHUTTLE HAS GOTTEN BIGGER AND BETTER!! So you will have more space to bounce around you ball all. by. yourself.

But some notable things added to the shuttle is the ability to now customise your cosmetics and change your colors and settings without having to be in a lobby! Also i would like to apologise for the lack of updates on the website, there hasn't been much going on besides now, but anyway as always eat your onions and keep drifting!

We obviously need more people to run this site becuase its sooooo much effort, so wryser and ratson have been added to help lmao

We FINALLY have a domain! its www.oniondrift.org, the old domain hosting website was really bad haha, and i can't cancel my other domain (oniondrift.com) until the end of next year lmao. but anyway hopefully the site looks a LOT cleaner with this domain ,

wryser has made a fanfiction! (why is there so many lmao)

We are really excited to be sharing details like this with you guys. after 2 days of waiting, its finally here...

here we have the specimen, "ratson" he loves his onions, i mean its his favorite thing in the world! he loves it so much that he decided to rob his local supermarket because he didn't have enough money to buy them! he is serving 5 years in a maximum security prison, but at least he has discord and early access in orion drift.
